Little Big Planet non importerà immagini dall’Hard Disk

Hello dear Media Molecule,
this is a message coming from a community filled with admiration for your
Little Big Planet, your product is more than a simple game for us, it more of such an experience.

We’ve been following the development since the early days in the 2007, and gathered
more people to pay attention to what this project of yours because we have really great expectation from it.

The statements recently appeared on the playstationblog.com colored us surprised regarding
the fact of not being able to use images coming from our HD for the stickers.

Forcing us through the Playstationeye isn’t a great deal since even if it will indeed push the sales of such a peripheral.
It will make us ,the ones that will PLAY/CREATE/SHARE/ with the game, extremely disappointed with the result,
since the resolution and the overall quality of the pics it’s poor, and anyway hard to even reach a decent quality
because of lightining, saturated colors and focus problems, all within such hardware.

Sìnce you showed us how you guys managed to upload custom pictures from the 2007 to one
of the latest events, we were sad that you’re now removing the thing totally.
We dreamed of being able to put .PNG images with transparencies, create a fake fog effect, a submarine land and much more.
And expressively about the quality of those images, you could put restriction on the size in Kb/s of the images and the
dimension of them and we would’ve be fine with that.

But taking pictures with the PSEYE it’s nothing even near to what we pictured, to what we’ve seen from
what you during the conventions.

It’s not even a copyright matter, since whatever image I would upload, I could still get it
with the cam, just at an inferior quality and with some occurring blur.

We do hope you’ll let us use custom images with transparences for the stickers, we have
really great thing in our minds. Don’t cut our wings.

Just like we said before put limitation in image size, quality, whatever, we’ll be fine with them
if that bothers you so much.

Thanks a lot for the time spended reading this,
we’ll all be crossing our fingers about it.
