Harmonix e MTV Games hanno annunciato l’aggiunta su Rock Band Music Store di 8 nuove tracce per Rock Band 2. Tra questi nuovi contenuti scaricabili trovate la musica di Steve Miller Band, Godsmack, Belly, Ghost Hounds, Mute Math e Rob Zombie.
La data del rilascio è prevista Martedì 20 Gennaio 2009 su Xbox Live Marketplace per Xbox 360 e giorno 22 Gennaio invece su Playstation Network per Playstation 3.
